Just south of Kelowna and about 30 minutes from downtown is the world famous Myra Canyon, a lovingly restored section of the Kettle Valley Railway Trail. It is 12 kms one way between the Myra and Ruth Gates (24 km round trip). The grade is within 2 degrees with no steep climbs. What makes the Myra Canyon section special are the 18 trestles and two tunnels you’ll pass over and through, with spectacular views, informative signs and a truly unique experience. Over 70,000 visitors came through Myra Canyon in 2017, either walking or cycling.
