Two Hour Closure Possible Thursday June 26 or Friday June 27
The contractor now anticipates roughly a two hour closure on either Thursday June 26th or Friday June 27th at the east end of Trestle 6 to install a culvert across the trail. Otherwise the trail remains open for users between Myra and Ruth parking lots with minor delays.

BC Parks Crews Working East of Trestle 6
Starting on June 11, 2014 until June 27, 2014 BC Parks Crews will be working in the area east of Trestle 6.
Expect periodic delays between the Ruth Station parking lot and Trestle 6 from Monday through Friday during this time.

Repairs on Trestle 11 and Clean Up at Trestle 3, May 30 to June 4
Starting May 30, 2014 until June 4, 2014 crews will be completing some minor repairs on trestle 11 and clean up activities at trestle 3Expect delays from the Myra Parking lot to trestle 11 from Friday to Sunday and delays from Ruth Station parking lot to trestle 3 on Monday to Tuesday.

Spring Inspection
On May 14 the Society carried out its Spring Inspection. Any trees across the trail were cut and removed, some rocks moved aside and the trail made passable. The trail is open the entire length of Myra Canyon to bikers and hikers,

Trail Update – Winter Kind to Myra Canyon
Trail conditions reported yesterday show winter was kind to the Myra Canyon. Presently there are no rock slides, no mud slides and overall the trail is in great condition.
There is still some snow on the trail, but we estimate the snow should be gone within a week or two.
Opening of Myra Canyon Trail
The trail is open from Myra to Ruth stations now and can be used by hikers, skiers and snowshoers. The roads up to the parking lots are plowed, but the road to the Myra end is in better shape. However the trail is snow covered,
