Spring Inspection

On May 14 the Society carried out its Spring Inspection.  Any trees across the trail were cut and removed, some rocks moved aside and the trail made passable.  The trail is open the entire length of Myra Canyon to bikers and hikers, and is dry and firm with the exception of a few places where water is running across the trail.

However Parks BC will be starting improvements at the east end of Trestle 6 in the near future and a trail closure for a period of 10 days is contemplated while the work is going on.  Users should look for updates on this website, or contact BC Parks directly related to the closure.  There will be no by-pass in the immediate area of the Trestle
