Effective May 14, 2020, BC Parks has reopened many parks for Day Use Only. This includes the Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park. However, it is only partially opened, and the very popular Myra Canyon Trestles and Railway trail between Myra Station and Ruth Station,
BC PARKS has now closed ALL BC Provincial Parks. This closure includes the Myra Canyon. Please respect the closure and stay out of the park until further notice. Thank you and stay safe.
Myra Canyon Trestle Restoration Society Directors
As at April 13, 2019, the trail is mostly dry. There is still snow across the trail in the dark cuts. Several trees are across the trail but it is possible to navigate around them. Some minor rock falls have happened over the winter.
There is snow now at the Myra Canyon elevation. Although the park is open through the winter for snow shoe enthusiasts, cross country skiers and those that want to just walk along, MCTS will not be maintaining the trestles,
